Conair (UK) Ltd have recently completed a project to construct an acoustic enclosure within the plant room of a prominent London commercial building.

Our client is delighted with the sound attenuation achieved by the confinement of three very large chiller units within the ninth floor location.

The installation involved the design and build of the enclosure along with the fitting of all internal electrical services, lighting and ventilation.

The enclosure successfully reduces airborne noise to a safe and acceptable level within the plant room and renders the noise within adjacent office areas to minimal (almost imperceptible) levels.
We are now working with the client to investigate and reduce structure-borne vibration from other items of plant.

Conair (UK) Ltd’s Managing Director points out “The success of this project is yet another indication of the wide range of expert disciplines
within building engineering services available from the company”.
