Conair UK Ltd were recently asked to provide options to refurbish or replace ageing chiller equipment in the basement of a prominent law firm based in the City of London.

The client decided to go with the refurbishment option, which saw the phased removal of a number of large chiller compressors for workshop dismantling, followed by the full replacement of critical components, the close tolerance re-machining of existing parts and final re-assembly to exacting manufacturers recommended specifications by highly trained engineers.

The technical attention paid to each piece of equipment means that upon their re-instatement, the re-built chillers will be capable of providing the client with many more years of useful service, at a cost which is considerably less than that of total unit replacement.
